• Forty percent of the world's palm oil is grown by small landowners who rely on it for their livelihood. Supporting responsible growers is vital to making sustainable palm oil the industry standard. By supporting RSPO, we advance the production, procurement, and use of sustainable palm oil while helping develop global standards for the entire supply chain, ensuring a more sustainable future for the industry.
• Currently, only 3% of U.S. philanthropy supports environmental causes. 1% For the Planet has facilitated over $250 million in contributions to address pressing environmental issues in six key areas: climate, food, land, pollution, water, & wildlife. As members from day one, GoodLight has donated 1% of our annual gross sales—not just profits—to organizations combating global warming & climate change, namely the Orangutan Land Trust & Carbonfund.
