About This
- Non-Toxic Water-Based Formula: This fabric protector spray features an odorless, non-flammable, water-based silicon dioxide formula. It forms a breathable protective layer around fabric fibers without changing the natural look, feel, or scent of upholstery, carpet, couch, rugs, shoes, and more.
- Long-Lasting Fabric Protection: Provides durable protection for up to 3 years with proper application and care. Ideal for high-use areas such as couches, chairs, carpets, rugs, outdoor cushions, and other fabric surfaces that need reliable stain resistance.
- ECONOMICAL REFILL SIZE: Each 25.4 fl. oz. bottle covers up to 80.7 sq. ft., making it ideal for refills and large projects. Use with an electric rechargeable spray gun for fast, uniform application and efficient, long-lasting protection.
Overview
- Does this spray make my fabric completely waterproof?
- No, PuraPel is a stain repellent, not a waterproofer. It effectively repels most liquid stains (ranging from pH 2 to 13), but it does not make items fully waterproof. Extremely acidic or heavy greasy stains may still seep into the fibers.
- Can I use this on any type of fabric or clothing?
- I already have another brand's fabric protector on my couch. Can I spray this on top?
- No, you should avoid applying on top of existing protectors. Please wait until the previous coating has completely worn off. If you are uncertain whether the old protector is still active, you can do a quick water spill test to check.
- How long does it last on furniture that gets used every day?
- For high-traffic areas, you may need to do touch-ups sooner than on less frequently used items. However, rest assured that even if the visible water-beading effect starts to fade, the underlying stain protection still remains active.
